Our Story

Over the last twenty years as a facial plastic surgeon, one of my frustrations has been to find a range of skincare products powerful, yet gentle enough to deliver proven anti-aging benefits to the skin, especially after having facial rejuvenation surgery. As you well know the selection of anti-aging products offered is dizzying and the marketing for many of them, simply dazzling. But when it comes to their ability to deliver on their promise of more youthful, radiant skin, or an even skin tone – the results often fall well short. My wife Kristen, a Doctor of Pharmacy and seasoned pharmaceutical development professional shared my frustration (as our over-flowing bathroom cabinets will attest!) and in late 2014, we purchased a boutique skin care manufacturing company and built out a facility located within 5 miles of our clinic in Fort Myers, FL which we named Trilogy Laboratories (after our three daughters). Since then, Kristen and I have been working together to formulate our very own line of anti-aging Azul skin care, specifically created for mature, sun-damaged and sensitive skin, with the focus on Skin Health.

The Azul clients have been thrilled with the results and we have now expanded our range to also include medical skincare solutions formulated for men, for the body as well as problem skin and an entire mineral makeup line that delivers anti-aging benefits to the skin. Each of our products has been designed to “play well with others” so they can be easily incorporated into your existing skin care regime, or for fastest results used as part of an Azul Skin System™ with other Azul products.

Our Philosophy

Under the guidance of Dr. Patrick Flaharty, the Azul Cosmetic Surgery and Medical Spa offers state of the art treatments and products. His mission is to help patients look and feel their best. With his line of Azul SkinHealth products, we have formulated products with proven active ingredients at appropriate concentrations to maximize benefit in skin transformation. Whether using these products before a procedure to improve skin health and healing or after a procedure to maintain the youthful appearance, skin is always a priority. Our products are supported with additions of natural botanicals and other unique and novel ingredients to provide formulations that are innovative and truly deliver. All treatment regimens are customized for individual patient skin type and needs by highly trained staff. All our products are paraben-free.
