The secret of our Enzyme Polish is the advanced, scientifically proven ingredients contained within. All of these work synergistically to give you an at-home exfoliation that is the perfect addition to any skincare regimen.
Jojoba Beads
These all-natural, biodegradable beads moisturize and recondition your skin, balancing oil production while also providing a physical exfoliation. Even better, unlike plastic microbeads, these jojoba beads won’t end up polluting our water. Instead, they will break down naturally, so they’re better for both you AND the planet!
Aloe
This is a favorite ingredient used in countless beauty and skincare products, and for good reason. This gel naturally heals and moisturizes the skin, just like it would after you get a sunburn.
Papaya & Pineapple Extracts
Loaded with antioxidants, these extracts also contain pepsin, which aids in the exfoliation of the skin by enzymatically helping to break down the bonds between dead skin cells.
Salicylic Acid
Found in many acne products, this beta hydroxy helps to reduce inflammation while also providing exfoliation. It can also unclog pores, smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, and even stimulate new cell growth.
Lactic Acid
This is an alpha hydroxy acid that both hydrates and exfoliates to reduce wrinkles and excessive skin pigmentation.
Glycolic Acid
This is another alpha hydroxy, but this one is used to help turn over dead skin cells, so they can be replaced by healthier new cells.
Grapefruit Peel Oil
Another ingredient high in antioxidants, it’s also loaded with flavonoids and vitamin C. It’s quite astringent, helping to reduce oil buildup on the skin.
How Do I Use It?
It’s super simple. After you’ve cleansed, just apply a small amount of Enzyme Polish to your skin and gently massage it in a circular motion. Do this for about three minutes and then rinse your face with a soft cloth. That’s it! And though our Enzyme Polish provides a very gentle exfoliation, it’s always a great idea to apply a serum or moisturizer immediately afterward, to help replenish your skin’s moisture.
